Kathryn Ross MD, FACG
Kathryn Ross MD is board certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology and has practiced for more than 20 years in southern California, specializing in digestive diseases, nutrition and wellness. Since 2008 she has broadened her expertise to include her special interest in skin care, aesthetics, nutrition and anti-aging. Dr. Katie is a Fellow of the American College of Gastroenterology and is currently a Fellow in A4M (American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine).
Dr. Katie practices gastroenterology in Newport Beach with United Gastroenterology on Dover Drive in Newport Beach. She also owns and operates Gentle Touch Aesthetics across the hall in the same building. Gentle Touch specializes in skin beautification as well as optimal nutrition and health, anti-aging and wellness. Both offices offer medically supervised weight loss programs including the MedGem RMR measurement evaluation (as is used on The Biggest Loser). Dr. Katie graduated Summa Cum Laude from Barry University and with honors from University of Miami School of Medicine, Miami, Florida. She did a Critical Care Internship and then Internal Medicine Residency and two Fellowships (Gastroenterology & Liver Disease and Nutrition) at UC Davis. Dr. Katie served as an Assistant Professor on staff at UC Davis, Sacramento Medical Center and worked as an Emergency Room physician for several years. Following completion of the Fellowships in Gastroenterology and Nutrition she practiced at Kaiser Hospital, Sacramento, for 2 years prior to moving to southern California for private practice. She is board certified in The American College of Internal Medicine and also The American College of Gastroenterology and is a Fellow of the American College of Gastroenterology.
